Position: Setting Out Engineer
Location: Meir, Stoke-on-Trent, UK
Salary: £300.00 per shift
Hours: 07:00-18:00
Type: Temporary Employment (12-15 weeks)
Requirements: CSCS card, Engineering qualifications, own equipment, earthworks experience
Foundation Personnel are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a reputable earthworks and soil stabilization company based in Meir, Stoke-on-Trent. This company is renowned for its expertise in large-scale earthworks and soil stabilization projects, delivering innovative and reliable solutions across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of surveying and setting out tasks on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out surveys and as-built measurements.
- Perform setting out on site for various earthworks tasks.
- Manage machine control [GPS] and install models.
- Use CAD software proficiently.
- Read and interpret drawings, and communicate effectively with the site manager and managing engineer.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and within project specifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in the construction or earthworks industry.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and machine control [GPS].
- A valid CSCS card is essential.
- Relevant engineering qualifications.
- Must have own equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to provide 2 references.
