Position: Steel Fixer
Location: Shaftesbury, Dorset UK
Salary: £24.00 per hour
Hours: 07:30-17:00
Type: Temporary Employment (up to 2-3 years)
Requirements: CSCS card, must pass DBS clearance
Foundation Personnel are seeking a Steel Fixers to join a reputable construction company based in Shaftesbury. This company is recognized for its excellence in delivering comprehensive construction and infrastructure projects, known for its commitment to quality and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for pre-fabrication works and tying floors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-fabrication work and tie floors as part of construction projects.
- Ensure all work meets the specified quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform other steel fixing tasks as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in pre-fabrication works and tying floors.
- A valid CSCS card and Own tolls is essential.
- Must be able to pass a DBS check and obtain clearance to work inside a prison.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Must be able to provide 2 references.
